So I walked into the garage and heard strange music playing from...somewhere. And not cd quality music, I'm talking music box type plinky-plinky music. As I listened, I realized it was Christmas music. Actually quite creepy. Felt like I was entering some horror flick.
After a search akin to trying to find which smoke alarm is beeping (stop, listen, walk, stop, listen), I found the culprit in a box high on a shelf - a Christmas tree ornament we've had for years. I guess the battery is finally dying and it felt the need to belt out some tunes before it went.
Could be worse - could have been a Halloween ornament playing the theme to The Exorcist.
In which case, I would've high-tailed it outta there. We don't own any such ornament.
