Storybending, an RPG

A friend of mine has been working on his own pen-and-paper role-playing game entitled "Storybending:"

I choose that name because during play-testing it grew apparent that the game-play that really sets SB apart is about adapting and modifying the story.  In a lot of story or role-playing systems (like the biggest one…with initials D) the players have very limited influence over the story itself; they have characters, with stats, and they get to do stuff, but there’s a boundary around altering the scenes, like the environment, the non-player characters, the equipment.

From what I've read, this sounds accessible and fun.  I only wish we weren't on opposite sides of the country.  I want to play!
